It's super reliable and very flexible to a point I was even able to set up syncing of game saves for Steam with it so I had up to date game saves on all my systems in a game that doesn't even have Steam Cloud functionality. It's the best I've seen and used in years. Oh, I need to comment on one more thing and it's their Syncing app. Similar to how ProtonMail only has lifetime plans as specials that can't be obtained otherwise. Or they might change things in the future where existing users keep the lifetime plans, but new customers will have other options. And if you want more, you start paying extra for other goodies which is what gives them long term financial stability. If you don't, going monthly or yearly is probably better. If you plan on committing yourself to pCloud for a period at which the lifetime service pays itself, then Lifetime is the way. And they offer pCloud Business which also doesn't have lifetime plans. There are some hints they'll be setting up servers in EU too, at least I've seen some hints inside their apps.Īs for the financing, they do have lifetime plans for the base storage and encrypted service, but if you want to expand other things like Rewind history period, it's a yearly paid only thing. But if that doesn't bother you, it's a pretty good service. Well, pCloud is not end to end encrypted by default and their servers are located in Texas, USA.
